dinner and dance

lazy to blog frequently so i dump everything on todays blog.... ;) two nights ago, willis, kevin, lu yi, shu chieh and me went to swissotel to have dinner, because we have still have the vouchers and it will expire the next day... the $1000 voucher was given by the big big boss, remember my previous blog on company dinner???( I went for the dinner with some of my colleague and left roughly $400.) then georgina and her husband spend $300 and left $300 for five for us. we decide on a restaurant called Prego which they serve vegetarian food and beyond our budget....haha... it is so weird, the moment we sat down, the waiter gave us two large bread with a tomato sauce that taste like the spaghetti sauce, perhaps that two bread is for our dinner??? we order our food from the cheapest from $20+ to $50+, and we ordered a bottle of red wine, Merlot 2006 from Cesari ...too bad, they didn't i was underaged:P the cork for the wine, a rather unique design...:)

 My food for the day, baby chicken. this is my 'second' dish, i found a hair on the first dish and request for a new one...certainly not mine because the hair is very very short, 1cm.... :P

last night was standard chartered dinner and dance, i was summon by georgina and jerrick to go suntec convention centre where it will be held, to chop place for them. when jerrick, shu chieh and i reached there, guess what... we are the first few to arrive there at 5.20pm and........the door only opens at 6.30.....:( it was a loooooooong wait and i wanted to do my rj since there have wireless connection there... but sucker, the connection suck and very low signal, so no choice but to continue to wait till the rest of my colleagues arrive and the door to open...

the rest of my colleague arrive around six and we continue to wait and wait till 6.30.....:( me, kevin and jerrick stand in the front ready to chiong in, we look as though we are the kiasu singaporean...oops.... 3,2,1, chiong ah, we rushed in and manage to get two table in the middle of the hall...:) we found luminous light stick on the table and i stick two of them onto my hair since my hair is waxy enough to hold them...

the two light stick, i later stick them to my back of my hair where i applied the wax most, i also twist my hair so that my hair will be able to hold them which my hair entangle and almost unable to get the light stick out....:(

our sitting arrangement....hmmm, everyone got their desire place except ME, i have to sit with cynthia ( she is in her mid 30s i supposed...and she is childish and weird....many of us dislike her including me the most because i had tolerate her for a year and her many stupid incident she did to me!!!!!!!) and worst, she drag me to the best dress table where many of my colleague dress up for the event, the paparazzi ( georgina and rochelle) almost took a photo of her holding my hand my hand which to my dismay is...:( getting irriated and disguested, i switched to another table leaving my buddys behind and eventually causing kevin to be disturbed by her.... I SO SORRY, Kevin!!!!! whoohoo, the first dish is here, mayonise prawn, spring roll and others together on a large plate, jian quan and willis walk in, totally amused by their dressing... willis and jian quan

then it was the first draw of the lucky draw and there are only 30 lucky winners, and 28th prize was a nano ipod, a $100+ gift for 28th prize, imagine the gand winner..... :( we went over to the best dress table to take photo with jq and willis... they are so funny!!!!

why always have a person with their eyes close when taking the photo???? -_-"

i tried red wine and white wine, haha, i was UNDERAGED!!!!!! the red wine was rather bitter and the white wine was better, less bitter and just right for me, i don't know the % of the alcohol and i just drank it, a total of five glasses in all, phew, i did not get drank....:) they gave me a beer afterward and it was awesome!!!!! it was not bitter at all, much better than tiger beer and heineken, too bad i did not get to know what is that brand....:( after drinking 2 glass of that, i start to get dizzy, perhaps getting drank soon...more photos...jerrick and i on their outfit...:)


dish for the day:
2 - shark fin soup ( it was delicious, 2nd best ever have, 1st was at habourfront, dragon restaurant if i remember the restaurant right)

3 - prawn with dry chilli ( too hot for me :P, but not bad )

4 - steam fish with soy sauce ( oishi )

5 - roast chicken ( a bit too hard :P )

6 - vege with abalone ( not bad )

7 - ee mee ( oishi too )

8 - mango sago... ( too full to have it )

after the dinner, we didn't stay for the dance, we went to hotel to rest... i was getting high along the way to the hotel, messing peixin and yan jing hair, very giddy, now i feel the way of getting drank, very close, one more glass enough to knock me out... i get better when i rest for a while, very tired... then we took somemore photos in the hotel... :)

dead drunk....

got to go now, my mum going to disconnect my internet....:(
