back to bowling business this morning with henry, xun xiong, chongyi, jiayu and eugene and a spectator whose name i dont know at ehub. damn happy with my scores today, first four scores was;161

just break my highest score from 211 to 230, really happy but feel more stress and harder to break it again next time.
after i received a phone call from someone and got scolded, i lost my concentration and mood immediately. from 230 dropped to 102!!! next five scores was;

my target today was to have at least two high game, but only manage to achieve one, luckily my average is still above 150 and reprimanded myself of letting myself scoring 2 games of less than 150 with one even failing to achieve above 100.

we went superdog for lunch, hmmm nice lunch there. fillet burger with cheese fries, reminds me of AW cheese fries with mince meat in it. although the burger is a bit small, but i had a very full meal. definitely worth to go again...

because of a heavy thunderstorm later in the afternoon, we were forced to go arcade to sheltered from the rain. a long time since i stepped into the arcade, really have lots of fun inside.

today's dinner went Changi Village to have curry fish head. after dinner, we took a stroll along the mini flea market nearby. i came across this stall selling handbags and looked at this sign:" Buy one handbag, get wallet half free!" meaning buy one handbag, get another wallet but in half condition?? wahahaha. thought only this could only happen in china and japan, it happened in Singapore too...

This blog entry is entitled to this shiity faci of mine today for Linear Module, continued from my previous. crap man, she spent more than half an hour explaining the final presentation, and in the end, i catch no ball from her. when my group was presenting, she shoot dozens of questions at my group as though she shooting a machine gun.her pronounciation is funny too. how to you pronouce circuit; cir-cuit right? she pronouce it as so-cute... grr grr grr... what about drift, she pronouce it as drew. urgh urgh urgh... when she finish her final presentation, i'm the only person to clap for her, and she say 'WHAT", i shoot back "WHAT" too. then she continue saying "normally when people do this, they are happy that the presentation is over and want to leave fast". she don't get it man, i appreciative about her presentation, how can she say this... anyway, i wanted her presentation to end fast too.
first, i don't get what is she explaning, and i bet she dont understand what she saying too. secondly, she damn boring and strict. lastly, she got a damn fat ass, she keep standing in front of me showing her ass, which making me puke of course, cant stand it for the half an hour. imagine i have to see her for the next eight weeks... my god my god....

Linear module today and i seriously hate it. My faci is late for class again and that not the first time, she been late for all lessons. and when she reach the class after she was late for almost 15 mins, she only start the lesson 16 mins later, half an hour of time wasted by her. and her phone keep ringing during class, i wonder how she can become a faci, so what that she is holding a master, her teaching attitude is making my classmates pissing off. this coming evaluation for faci i gonna complain about her, one word to desecribe her, SUCKS!!!thinks she know i scolding her, she ask me to write information on the board and read out the problem statement. GRRR...
i just saw my grades for all my modules, never had one time in my life i got so many As. not for absent or atrocious though...
that X means absent, and i missed this shitty linear module last thurday for my medical appointment. glad i missed it, hear from my classmate that it was hell from the faci.bad for my understanding test though, only C+, must buckle up.tomorrow last day of school and it holiday time. yesterday i send my PP poster to my advisor, he say i must change some of the things and amend some parts and its good to go for assessment. yeah!!

PP assessment is around the corner, and today i just manage to finish my PP poster. PP poster that consist of two A1 size or equivalent poster. I went to the photocopy shop to check for the price of printing the A1 size poster. $20 for EACH poster, and total $40 for both. GRRR... PP project and it have to cost me a bomb for it, and it does not worth it. then the person told me it will be cheaper if i print in 4 A3 size and 8 for total and only cost $9.60 at $1.20 for each A3 size. this is more like it, less than $10.so with my PP poster done at A1 size, i have to redo and divide my poster into 8 parts. haiz, stupid PP project, making me vomit blood.
some secret information released by my faci. the management of RP has decided that year 1 student, their lesson start at 8.30am, while year 2 student will start at 9.15am and year 3 student will start at 10am. and this new schedule will only implement on next semester. yipee, i will be year 3 by then and i can wake up later to go school, this is definitely a piece of good news and maybe i dont have to fight for seats on bus le, and meeting 1 will be shorten from 1 hour to half an hour. GREAT>

Today lesson was Digital Electronics, very hard!!! our tasks today is to make a digital clock signal. That right, from 0000hours to 2359hours and reset back to 0000hours. wires are normally stripped by the lab carers, but today is exceptional. and in the end, we needed more than 50 wires of all length and we cut it all by ourselves.luckily our faci understand the difficulty of today's task and leniently allow us to have a simple presentation. at first our clock signal was able to function, but not in a perfectly manner. my group troubleshoot and changing wires here and there and at last solve the mystery. a job well done said by the faci.
see how complicated our circuits was, to squeeze in 6 I/C chips and more than 50 wires to make a stupid clock signal...understanding test later in the afternoon, Communication Module. three questions, all problematic question, all need formulas to solved, everything in 30 mins time. managed to solve the first two questions, but my last question was ruined by without having a calculator. i need this inverse of tangent and i not sure of the function of the lappy calculator, 4 marks gone. steps one mark, answer wrong no marks. luckily KK was able to lend me his calculator and manage to solve the trigonometry question and carry with the next step. thanks KK, helping me to get back maybe 2 marks...
then after school went to Whitesands with my sister to buy my earpiece. just broke my earpiece again, mishandling by me... and she paid for my ear piece and my lappy cooling fan with her vouchers. thanks...

supposedly should go school today, but something more important prone me to skip school, none other than my appointment with NUH. forced to get up to reach there early to get myself poked when my appointment was at 11.30 to have my blood test done and result out in one hour. luckily my sis accompany and drove me there, if not i have to wake up even earlier. and i reached there at 8.45 and only to have my blood test done 30 mins later with long queue of people waiting to 'donate' their blood to the lab for analyzing.lab result will only be out a hour or so. so my sis and i went to have breakfast at the kopitiam and waited for a hour, then we waited for another hour at the specialist clinic, an answer from the nurse ' there six people queuing in front of you, so do you want to grab some food first?' i'm sure everyone knows what my answer was... if 10 mins for each patient, and i'm the seventh patient, that more than a hour to wait...
finally when it was my turn, i'm half dead by then...
first my blood test result, my white blood count is still high, but slightly better than my previous result. 17.51 (last result was 19.71, 3-8 range for a normal person)
secondly, they conclude this viral infection was my arthritis flare, and my new affecting areas that are in pain are the inflammation shifting to new areas.
thirdly, they will restart my past medication, prednisolone, methotraxate plus the painkillers... urgh, medicine again...
lastly, i was reading through the straits time today and saw this osteoporosis at the mind your body section, and it related to bones. so i ask jokingly to the doctor will i get it when i am old. guess what the doctor say? HIGH RISK, inflammation in my bones will make my bones more brittle easily... WAH, crack here and crack there when i'm old... and the doctor recommend me to take more calcium, MILK! everyone, please buy milk for me, thanks, preferably chocolate please, no melamine in it please...
have prawn noodle soup at Zion road, opposite great world city. not too bad, but the prawn is terribly bit small for a bowl that cost $6!!! however, the soup is special with pork rib taste inside, like half prawn soup, half bak ku teh, taste well with chilli powder...
Verdict - 3.7/5
best i ever taste before was at Old Airport Hawker Centre. With $5, you get to eat the prawn that is more than 15cm long. and the soup has a very strong prawn smell, add some chilli powder and the soup is taste perfectly.

Monday, 13 Oct - PCB
today was PCB lesson. but didnt know why and how, i suddenly had no mood for the lesson. perhaps it was the stiffness on my shoulder that is bothering me, and today was the first that my doctor advice me to stop the medication and see my condition. without the painkiller, i have to bear the pain to travel to school. today PCB was rather hard and complicated, soldering plus wire wrapping... i prefer wire wrapping though, it was fun to twist and coil the wire. and for the first time since week 1 of the lesson, i made a terrible mistake, i misread the capacitior value. and i gotta desolder it and everything including the switch, 11 capacitor and 7 switches, all of them and all the switch broke.i asked for new switches from my faci and he laughed at me... urgh... saying me break the record of destroying 7 switches... even though wasted lots of time redoing the circuit, it manage to work in the end, a sign of relief...
this is the circuit we suppose to do, seems complicated, 12 capacitors, 11 switches total, 2 resistors, a 555 chip and a buzzer. i soldered the capacitors and switches, and wire wrap every single connections. didnt have my circuit with, lent to my friends as his reference for his PCB lesson tomorrow, if not i could my circuit in here.
i tried on the different sound created due to the different frequency of the capacitor and suddenly it has a explode sound. to my disbelief, my friend increase it voltage to 28.9V instead of the 9V recommended with a threshold of 16V. GRRR, it blew my 555 chip with spark coming out and he compensate me with his chip...
hope to get another A grade from my faci... so far this module is the easier to score...

Thursday, 9 Oct - I'm so early today
i reached school damn early today, i reached at 7.48 when my lesson start at 8.30am when i usually reach around 8plus. i left home at around 6.50 and it took me less than a hour to reach school. i got a shocked when i saw my grade for Linear today, i got a C when i thought i gonna get a F. last week on Linear lesson, i skip most of the lesson and wrote a stupid reflection apologize saying i went IT helpdesk to fix my lappy which i actually stay in school to do other things.and today was Linear lesson once again and i cant stand the lesson today. the faci is damn boring and she is lazy as well, she simply just go through the problem and worksheet and off she go to her break. she always late for lesson frequently as well!!!! the lesson is not boring, but the way she teach makes me lost interest for the lesson. she spoilt my mood since week 1 and it's only week 5 now, how i going to survive her lesson for the next 11 weeks with her lousy teaching tactics?

Sunday, 5 Oct - Chalet
this two nights i was staying at the chalet at NSRCC and yesterday was my grandma birthday, and we celebrated it for her.First night;
nothing much done on the first night, there has been a recent renovation at NSRCC and the bungalow has become even more beautiful than before, everything has been changed since i last came at around May this year, including the living room which look even more spacious and well designed. as there is not enough space for us to sleep at the room, me and my siblings plus my cousin slept at the living room.
Next day;
we went swimming the moment we woke up and play with baby cousin gladdy and playing beach ball in the swimming pool. we got chase out when we attempt to play the beach ball at adult pool because they don't allow floats at the adult pool... this time we didnt went for the jaccuzzi because the water is very cold and dirty..
bascially, the whole day is just swimming, morning was wet, afternoon was dry. we starting mahjong in the early afternoon and play till the buffet dinner arrived at 7pm finishing 2 rounds. i emerged as the big winner, wahahahaha, winning 8 dollars, too bad we didnt play real money, wahahaha...
the buffet was not bad, except the shou mian taste very weird, there's a very bad after taste and taste like instant noodle. other taste just right although not as good. then it was time to cut the cake for my grandma. naughty baby cousin gladdy dig the cake before the birthday song, left a hole at the side of the cake...hahaha...can see my grandma was very happy with us preparing her birthday celebration...
after the birthday ceremony was swimming again... changing sitting arrangement this time and played till 1am. during the game, we played blackjack with ah ma with my mum as the banker... think my ah ma won a bit of money, together with me and my uncle won a bit too... then back to swimming again. we make many mistakes, like treat the one bamboo bird as flower, saying four of the same kind tile as pongkang...what the hell is pongkang? lol, we are getting tired to play anymore, so we stop the game at west wind... won another 16 bucks, still fake money... :(
last day;
in the speed of light, the three day holiday is over. my ah ma was complaining why we came here with little stuff and went home with tonnes of stuff. haha. feel a bit sad because time passes so fast and tomorrow is schooling again...
for the first time at NSRCC chalet, i didnt went bowling. not because i didnt want to, but i wasnt allow to. because i just got discharged from hospital and cant do any tedious exercise. speaking of tedious exercise, i just went swimming and that is consider tedious exercise... !!!!

Friday, 3 Oct - Follow Up
this morning went for my follow up, a blood test first then follow by having lunch at NUH for a hour while waiting for my blood test result and waiting for the doctor to see me. wait for another hour for the doctor to come, shivering at the specialist clinic as it is too cold for me... ah choo...the blood test result shows a slight improvement. my white blood cell previously show 26.0 which is extremely high, but this time it show 19.0 which is also still quite high as compare to an average person which is around 10.0... the doctor think my condition was not a relapse but some virus infection which is causing my pain and aching. so another appointment on 16 Oct, this time with the rheumatoid arthritis doctor.

Wednesday, 1 Oct - Day after yesterday
it been a day since i was discharged yesterday. morning stiffness on my joints and muscles this morning, but the pain gets better later in the afternoon. currently still no fever which it is a good sign. finally able to sleep peacefully last night, compared to the night before at hospital which is terribly horrible. i wonder why adults keep asking to stop drinking cold water, refrain from eating food made from beans. why? there no scientific proven that this contribute to my pain. and my relative keeps telling me to stop playing bowling, why? i read about my condition online, they encourage to exercise more, and even i play bowling, it should only affect my right hand only, why both of my hands are affected, so there no proof that bowling could worsen my condition.did i mention my latest admission to the hospital is my fifth a time? my life is so bitter, fifth time at the age of before twenty.... no bowling for the next few weeks, haizzzzz. understanding test tomorrow, and it the most annoying module, linear... so sianz, the faci cant explain the lesson well, i still cant understand how the circuit works. definitely will die very badly for the test... :(
