Friday, 30 May - Getting used to my new job
yesterday night was my third day in tiger bar, now getting use to the job, being a cashier although still not familiarise with the drinks catergories, floor - ordering drinks and serving the customer... nathan, my assistant manger of the bar asked me this question the moment i arrive at the bar ' kelvin, do you punch in your card the moment you arrive or after you change?' obviously i know he trying to test me out, if not i will kana a scolding if i answer wrongly... of course i choose after i change into my uniform then i punch in the card... hehheh, well answer i think.. :) then this so called assistant manager was trying to change the environment, menu must be well place at its position, this this this, that that that, wah piang eh, i just a newcomer and he wants to change the management before i can master everything... i feel like punching, kick his ass and shout 'can you give everyone a break'... i'm really damn sad at work, two things or rather three problems really upset me...first, the 'upstair' is able to order us to cook and make drinks for them... nevermind, i treat them as customer... guess what, they do NOT have to pay for it and everything goes downs into their stomach while our stomach is empty... korkorkor and it will make a hollow sound... and in the end we have to clear up their mess, throwing away some of their leftover food, not even a thanks from them or asking whether we want to have some...
second and lastly, we received tonnes of tips from the kind customer and guess what... NO tips for us to keep and everything goes to the 'upstair' pocket... this three days i been working, all the accumulated tips could add up a hundred or so, even spliting between the four of us (excluding the 'upstair') could equally divide us more than 30 bucks... see, hardworkers get all the shitty work, slackers get all the tips... it @@@@ing unfair, i really damn pissed about it... it similar to someone in your project group did nothing and order people around and get all the credits...
nevermind, on a brighter side, i get to shop at the transit area, which i really love it... AND, i get to stand close to the plane, especially the A380s... mingle with the customer was enjoyable too, and the result was tips from them entering into the 'upstair' pocket... :)
it really a rare sight to see two SIA A380 close to each other, especially when only 4 such plane is in service.. :)
getting tired now, tomorrow still has school and the stupid test...

Sunday, 25 May - Shiok
yesterday was a whole day of fun, morning went gym with henry... after went century square arcade, driving of course... after went whitesand meet jiayu and xunxiong for lunch and mahjong later in the afternoon... everyone of us lost money except jiayu who was the big winner, i lost the most heavy, 6bucks... after that we went bowling at downtown east in the midnight, i registered my name on the waiting list at 10pm, guess what time we get to play??? close to 1am in the morning, there was too many many people on the list, more than 50 people... samuel and me actually thought of going safra tampines to play, we cycled there and the queue there was very long as well... in the end we went back downtown east to play... didnt play very well, coz i was tired and our game ended at close to 4am...byebye

Thursday, 23 May - First day at Tiger Bar
Today was my first day at tiger bar... reached the airport at 3pm and waited till 4.30pm before someone actually meet me to bring me inside the transit area... a totally paradise inside the transit area, completely different from outside... the floor was fully carpet and left and right was full of shops selling branded stuff, very tempting.... URGH....when i reached the bar, first thing i was taught was to wash the cups, everything... then the senior made the singapore sling for a customer and i try the leftover, incredibly taste great...!!! initially was very boring, however i start to get the hang of it of the work and manage to do the basic requirement of the job... many more things to learn in the future, making of cocktails, making food etc... having some problem with the ang moh of ordering the drinks because i am not very sure about the name of the alcoholic drinks and eventually have to ask my senior to help... from 5 to 10pm was rather peaceful, very relaxing... however, a large group of ang mohs suddenly flock to the bar and we became very busy, often confused by the large orders... we initially thought that a customer left without paying, but he went to smoke and luckily the senior was aware of it... start to get very hungry and finally it time to go home, i rushed to popeye and bought the food and chiong back home... very very tired for my first day, next schedule work is on this coming sunday.. gotta go now, getting tired....

Monday, 19th May - Happy Vesak Day
last night went for barbeque... for the first ever, the bbq was not held at the beach, nor was it at anywhere specially for bbq, it was at a HDB block, not on the ground floor, but at the ninth floor... imagine bbqing at ninth floor, where you can overlook the surrounding... didn't eat much as i was still recovering from the flu... henry, nicholas was there also, mark and samuel went to meet us later for pool and bowling... we went to play pool after registering our name with the bowling centre because it is full... for unknown reason, after playing pool, we went to the bowling centre and just nice, it was our turn... after the first game, mark and nicholas went home first because they cant stay out late.. then jian hua left after the second game... during the third game, we lost the mood to play, because we are too tired already... eventually i won the first and second game but lost the third game to henry... haiz, have to share cab with henry to go home, 50% surcharged, so exexex.....then this morning 8am went to macritchie reservoir with my grandparents, auntie linda and her hubby and uncle johnny family as well...we have diffculty finding parking space and have to park somewhere near the private estate a distance away... the weather was very warm and everyone was sweating badly, many uneven upslope and downslope along the way which make the hiking even more fun... my grandma has to stay at a shelter area as she get too tired to walk any further.. the rest of us then proceed to a suspension bridge... saw many monkeys along the way chasing each other, practically seeing my mum around the forest.... know what its mean??? hehe...

the ant near the center of picture is incredibly big, about 1.5cm... we saw another even bigger one, twice as big as this... imagine it bite on your skin, your flesh will be twice as swollen?? by the time we finish the whole journey, it was already close to noon and everyone was tired and hungry...
going to bowling after the walk, but before that, we need to replenish our energy, LUNCH!!!!! we have lunch at yishun and went orchid country club for bowling... bowling again right?? i just went last night, bowling twice in less than 12 hours... haiz, lost to uncle johnny for the first two match and eventually won him in the third game... his score was 138, 134, 136, very constant right with a average of 136... mine was 132, 121, 157 with a average of 133... even my average lost to him... :(

Sunday, 18th May - Sick
yesterday morning woke up with a very bad running nose.. i not quite sure how many tissues i used but it definitely filled up my dustbin with all the sticky sticky tissue... my sister said i was getting heaty, because you know that the fluid that came out from your nose should be in white colour instead if it's a flu... however, mine was like yellowish and bit of blood came out, i don't know why there is blood, i don't bother about it...despite having a bad running nose, i still went for cycling... i cant help it, it been a week since i last cycled, it already been part of my habit...unusually, i felt very tired when i was at bedok, perhaps my flu was affecting my stamina... when i was on my way back at east coast, i saw a man sitting on the floor bleeding quite badly... think he flung off his bike, his face was quite badly bruised, many of the kay poh people stopped by and see what happened without offering any help, only one kind man actually stopped and offer his assistance....
at night went to swim at yishun safra... the place is incredibly beautiful, a huge different between tampines safra and yishun safra... we have only less than a hour to swim because we reached very late and it close at 915... after that went jalan kayu for roti prata, the standard drop, not worth going anymore, thomson and simpang stil has the standard there... :)
this morning woke up with a blocked nose, didn't have a good sleep last night because the weather was freaking warm... i was tossing around my bed and woke up in the middle of night many times...

Friday, 16th May - What a day...
If anyone recalled my previous blog, i mentioned about some of the modules that does not interest me at all, digital electronics and anologue electronic.... one of it is enough for me to vomit blood, two is enough for me to cut my heart out... today the module was digital electronics, and we have to solve the problem to get the outcome result which was given, our task is to examine the steps and solve it... out of the five groups in my class, only one team got the problem right, very impressive... we was supposed to create a circuit using a software and present it to the class... when my group wanted to present the sofware via the projector, my lappy blackout and i gotta restart my lappy... i wanted to show it to my faci what we have done but my effort was wasted after all, she did not manage to see it, because she forgot about it!!!!!! after the lesson was the terrifying UT that everyone dread of. phew!!!! luckily the 6P help me in the test, if not i could fail terribly, however, the test was actually quite easy with the help of 6P, although i did not manage to finish on time...while i was walking to causeway point with my group of fellow friends, i was thinking about the project i was doing now, am i comparing with the wrong companies, Singapore Airlines and Emirates Airline... at first i thought Emirates Airline was a very competitive airliner, because it was growing fast... but Emirates has very little resources for me to search for, as compared to SIA which was full of information i needed... maybe i should compare with Cathay Pacific instead... one thing i think i was wrong, Emirates is not a five star airline, it was only rated 4 stars.. haiz, i cant possibly redo my project, the project was already more than a quarter done... i wonder what the matter with me recently, i been walking on the wrong path occasionally.......
did i mention that my school all three canteen sucks except for the air con foodcourt? a bit of phrasing problem here, my school has three canteen, only one is air condition and serve the best food in RP, but also the most expensive kind... the food cost the same as outside food, compare with tampines poly, it is much cheaper to eat at TP... another canteen was at block E1, which the food is horrible, and expensive... and the last canteen at W6 which just open recently, is even much more worse!!!! the food is the cheapest in RP, $1.50 for a fishball noodle... but the food is terribly horrible, worse than the E1 canteen which was already bad enough and the food is so little...
today i went W6 for lunch... i ordered a chicken chop... the chicken was freaking small, smaller than my palm, and in the end i have to order another fishball noodle to satisfy my stomach... then i ordered a soursop fruit juice, another gone case, it taste like plain water, very diluted.... guess which company open this terrible foodcourt in RP... ~~KouFu~~ Urgh!!!!!!
i went to have dinner with my parents, while we were walking home, we encounter one really stupid incident... if you are crossing the road in a green light man, and a car honk at you, what will be your reaction??? the green light flash and we were still a distance away from the traffic light, two girls crossed the road... a car driving towards the traffic light honk once at the girls, and it honk again at them seconds later... i can say the driver is very kayu, pa jiao and colurblind... it was red light and the green man is flashing, the car keep honking at them... so retarded man, if i was the one who is crossing the traffic light and he honk at me, i going ask him to get out of his car and demand a explaination from him... TP always has this saying, 'if you drink, don't drive', what about a new saying ' if you are retard in colours, don't even try to drive'... :)

Tuesday, 13th - Wrong Path?
this few days i been wondering if i have make a wrong path? choosing the wrong course for my future... maybe i should have stay in tampines poly to study Mechatronics instead of appealing to republic poly for Aerospace Avionics... not because of the distance i have to travel everyday and to wake up extremely early, it the problem where am i learning the right thing? i'm very interested in aircraft, especially commercial airliner, the way they are make, what enables them to fly etc... but out of the four modules i having now, only aircraft instrumental and aerodynamics is related to it... the other two, digital electronics and anologue electronics are totally beyond my expectation and doesn't interest me at all, not even a single bit, because it is very complex and hard...beside this republic poly cant really teach people well... problem for the day, then worksheet for us to solve OURSELF, searching resources and answer on the internet... it so freaking boring, there no life at all... when we face a big problem, the faci are nowwhere to be seen, we have to rely on others to solve the problem.. see our analogue electronics faci, eat snake and lazy that kind.. asking him a few questions and he will get frustrated on answering, simply go through the problem and worksheet and run off for break... how we expect to learn something for it with that kind of faci???
lionel today really strike my mind today, are we learning what is interesting to us??? everyone in my class has the common mind, we are very enthusiatic in aircraft, NOT electrical components!!!
another scenario, what if i choose to stay in tampines poly in the first place, mechatronics as my course.. they have aerospace engineering inside the course too... seriously, i don't like mechatronics, i don't even know why i put mechatronics as my choice of course subject...

A ruined day
supposedly should be very busy today, full of outings. but some unexpected nature ruined our day. uncle jason organised a picnic freaking early in the morning at east coast park a few days ago, and i waited for this day to come because it was like a few years back since i last picnic with my family. i expected myself to wake up at 6am but in the end i found myself still on bed at 7 plus, and i heard uncle jason chatting with my dad outside our house. then i found out it RAINed in the morning, first plan ruined!!!!!!
nevermind if we cant have picnic, we still have plan for NTUC Carnival, going to wildwildwet in the afternoon i thought. so when noon arrive, many of my relatives are not going... urgh!!!!!!! uncle johnny and his family is not going, they going to the new Henderson bridge which just opened yesterday... then my sis and bro-in-law also not going... another plan partially ruined!!!!! so my parents and i went there ourselves, OMG, the parking space is FULLLLLL!!!!!!!! we even try parking at the opposite HDB flat and it was completely occupied, URGH!!!!!!!!!!!!!! and we finally found a parking space after driving around for nearly 20mins!!!!!!! then when we reached downturn east, everywhere was so packed... needless to say, WWWet is fully packed as well, i lost my mood to swim liao. initally i wanted to go home straight away, but my dad suggested we swim for a while. so we headed to the locker to place our belongings.... guess what interesting thing happen... my mum brought her towel, but...............forgot to bring her swimming costume, URGHHH!!!!!!! so my mum suggested she go bath while my dad and i go and swim for a while... the place is so horrible, so packed.... i gave up and headed straight to the toilet to bath... and for the first time in my life, i bath in front of the guys because the bathroom is fully occupied as well, but with my pants on of course, i'm too shy, yeah.......
after kui shio with the people at downturn east, we headed to my ah ma house... my toddler cousin seems to grow up a lot, but as usual, she cries when she see many people in the house... :( then mr marcus called me for basketball game... finally a game after i lost touch with it for almost a year... mr marcus really improved a lot, his aiming is super accurate. three matches with him and i lost all...:(
back at home, as usual surfing web and of course not to be missed, FACEBOOK!!!!!!! kevin send me a 'how big is your brain application' and i explored it. while i was doing some of the test in it, my side view saw something small crawling on the floor beside my table. i ignored it and continued with my test thinking maybe some illusion. then that unidentified thing crawl back again, it was a cockroach!!!! what in the hell is a cockroach doing in my house when i stay in tenth storey??? my day is already ruined enough, must you rub it in??? even a cockroach is bullying me..... arming with weapons, a newspaper and baygon, i went to search for that PEST. i sprayed the baygon around the table and the cockroach appeared behind me in a upside down manner... hehe, no need to waste effort to whack that pest, the baygon did the job... at least this shows one thing, Baygon is really useful, that pest just breathe in the poisonous gas and 'faint'. our house has one rule, only one 'pest' is only allowed in the house-lizard, others are to be exterminate immediately. see this unwelcomed guest... 
why some people think lizard is a pest? it only creepy, but it is a useful creature, it get rid of the mosquito for us. don't you think it can be actually quite cute, especially the head?
PP is giving me a headache, so many research has to be done, no plagiarism as well... i need to visit the library tomorrow to borrow some books to aid my research... it been more than 5 years since i last visited the library...

My second job
today was very quite lucky... i received an email saying i won a pair of movie tickets. i went for a CE talk regarding about the UOB service quality and was given a survey to do. there was 20 lucky winners for the pair of movie tickets and didn't expect i won it...today UTs sucks, analogue electronics was already horrible enough, the UTs was even worse. i just anyhow apply the formulae for it and got some very weird answers, i wonder if i got the units right???
after UT, i rush over to the airport for my job interview. sadly, there was no meal provided or allowances, and i had to work a minimum of 4 hours per day, 5 bucks per hour and will get pay increase if the performance is satisfactory... i was posted where jasmine is currently working, Tiger Bar, hmmmm, i get to drink...hehe....oops, i still underage, who cares??? another half a year and i can do anything i like....

PP scope is killing me
first thing in the morning when i reached school, i went to check the status of my PP job scope. PP is Professional Profiling on companies, it was like a project to us and we gotta submit it by end of year and PP job scope was just the starting part... i gotta rework on my scope... fine, perhaps i did it too simple and not enough explanation... i resubmit with a more detailed report and guess what, it was rejected again... i redo and submit and redo and submit, a total of five times!!!! it was finally accepted after some of my kind classmates gave me advice on the job scope... thanks man, without you all, i be dead and retain for second year...yeah, anyway, i happy tomorrow is a wednesday, no schooooool... nothing to write today...

Monday's blue
i finally went to school today, after one week 'holiday' seriously don't feel like going today, because i lack of sleep... can someone imagine perspiring while sleeping, and in the midnight??? i must be that weirdo to sweat while sleeping... i can't get it why the weather during midnight was so warm, my bed was warm and i was sweating, i keep tossing around my bed although the fan speed was the maximum, it was still so warm... i gave up and went bathing, even the water was rather warm too, i usually scare of bathing during midnight because the water was too cold, but it was different this time, so shiok to bath... then my sis came home after studying in the midnight....and i gave her a fright by standing at the door...morning was as bad as ever, standing on the bus for the whole journey, going to see the look of the lousy faci, facing the mission impossible module... everyones moods was the same when i got into the class, and because of the module and because of the faci... analogue electronics was enough to kill everyone, let alone a lazy faci... first thing he was late for class, he was 5 mins late!!! then he dilly dally and start the lesson at 8.49am!!! and he dismissed the class at 9.15am, 15 mins before the break!!! it is very nice of him to dismiss us so early, but he only taught for less than half a hour, and he just simply go through the problem statement and everyone was like 'ah, u sure bo? so fast finish ah. we are still confuse about today's problem...'
during second meeting, as usual, he just simply go through the worksheet and sat at his own table doing his own stuff... third meeting was perhaps the 'best'? we ended too early, 45 mins before our supposedly dismissal time.... and the UT sucks, it caught many of us by surprised, paperbased test, first time ever on paper, if not it could always done on lappy... and it was so freaking hard, first question was enough for me to ignore and proceed with the rest. but somehow i manage to finish everything, simply saying i squibble everything craply, copy paste from the 6P.... and Mr Harold Goh was right about me, i am too muddleheaded with my units, one problem sum i actually forgotten to change the units!!!! marks gone!!!!!
forget about UTs, facebook was still the best.. especially friends for sale, valerie and i keep fighting over for buying A----- and her value keeps going up, and i become too broke to buy her....o man... now i gotta surrender to Val, too bad she more rich than me, aiyooooo.... tio bully lei... nevermind, still got tomorrow...hehe... and revenge, superpoke her, pokepokepoke...
aiyooo, stupid imeem, always got problem uploading songs, i getting pissed with it!!!!!

bowling week
this week passed really fast, it's friday already... and this week i did not went to school at all, of course ponteng school, my initial plan was since wednesday and thursday there is no school for me, i could skip friday class only, then make it a five days holiday. but somehow i got lazy for monday and tuesday class and skipped it too...so for the whole of this week, i was busying playing facebook, exercising and most of the time playing bowling... i cant believe that almost everyday i was playing bowling..., sunday, monday, wednesday, thurday and today...
sunday was because the opening of E hub at downturn east, and to celebrate the opening ceremony, there was 3 free bowling games for everyone who is present, for a period of 4 days... but there was too many people queuing for the games so in the end Xun Xiong, henry and me gotta travel to Tampines safra for bowling...
monday i ponteng school, and henry suddenly called me asking whether want to play bowling, he was getting desperate and itchy for bowling... so together xun xiong, henry, me and another friend of theirs, we got pissed off by the students from pasir ris crest secondary, they were acting likes monkeys and cross over our line, in the end one of the guy got scolded by me and when he was getting too much... although we were having much fun, problems still existed, we were hit by two major problems at the lane problem and it lasted more than ten minutes...
no school on wednesday, and after i met my ex-colleagues for lunch, i went E hub again for bowling, since the promotion end on that day, not much fun playing alone and i played very very badly...
public holiday on thursday, went bowling againnnnnn with ah ma and ah gong and some of my relatives and cousins at mount faber safra... only did fairly and unexpectedly lost to auntie linda and ah gong...
was skipping school again and went whitesand arcade for maximum tune, then surprisely xun xiong was there too and asked me to join in their bowling game together with a twins, jun hao and jun jie (same name as me yeah)... i met a strong competitor at last jun hao was very very strong, i lost almost all games against him...
